Dr. Natalie Horn provides mental performance coaching and consultations designed to help athletes optimize and enhance performance. Mental performance coaching is synonymous with sport psychology. What these terms have in common is equipping yourself with mental tools and strategies to take your performance to the next level or gain an edge.

There are many psychological factors that influence performance. Dr. Horn assists athletes in cultivating a mental tool kit to silence the inner critic; confront fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt; build confidence and resilience; change your relationship to discomfort and pain, and successfully execute on event day.

Dr. Horn works with a variety of athletes looking to accomplish exciting goals, from completing an ultramarathon, climbing Everest, qualifying for the Boston Marathon, or completing your first triathlon. She has also worked with several professional athletes, including team USA athletes.

Dr. Horn also provides services to athletes struggling to come back from injury or setbacks, as well as former competitive athletes looking to receive support as they transition out of professional sport.

I am also a Certified Running Coach, and am able to advise and coach runners looking training plans from the half marathon distance to ultra endurance events.
